Teamleader Run CourseHannes isn’t just an ultrarunner himself—he’s also a certified massage therapist. Hannes works with the team to ensure everything runs smoothly along the course, but he’s much more than that. Especially during the toughest moments for the athletes, Hannes helps with all kinds of aches and pains and is there to offer advice and, above all, practical support to any athlete who needs it.

ModerationBernhard isn’t just the heart and soul of ultratriathlon, nor is he merely the event’s host from the very beginning—Bernhard IS ultratriathlon. A walking encyclopedia who knows everyone by name and chats with athletes in a wide variety of languages, Bernhard is indispensable to our event. As a speaker, mentor, and friend. Since 2026, he has also served as president of the International Ultra Triathlon Association (IUTA) and, together with his team, oversees the global development of our sport.

Athletes CareGernot is himself a multiple IRONMAN finisher and has already been part of many of our events in the last years. As a qualified paramedic and medical massage therapist, he has successfully eased many of our athletes’ aches and pains over the past few years, and this year he will once again be supporting us all with every ounce of his strength.

Eduard Fuchs
Ultra CyclistEduard Fuchs from Bad Radkersburg is one of the most successful ultra cyclists in the world. In addition to 3 victories at the RACE AROUND AUSTRIA, the RAAM finisher and multiple 24-hour winner was also crowned European Ultracycling Champion. In Bad Radkersburg, he has been responsible for organising cycling camps for years. We also have to thank Eduard for the ingenious and fast course.

Team Leader Transition 1Johann knows the Parktherme like the back of his hand. He has already proven his skills at countless sporting events in Bad Radkersburg. Here, he is responsible for ensuring everything runs smoothly around the first transition area. He monitors the entrance and exit and sends all participants off on the bike course safely and with a huge dose of motivation.

Live-Podcast/Social MediaJoining us in 2026 is the icon of the triathlon podcast scene in the German-speaking world. He has been hosting the "Triathlon Podcast" since 2013 and has also dedicated his professional career to the world of podcasts. He is traveling all the way from his adopted home of France and, together with his son, will handle media relations on site; as a gifted presenter, he will certainly be doing more than just holding the podcast microphone.

Wolfgang Weinzettl
Team Leader Swim VenueLike almost everyone else on the team, Wolfgang has been with us since the very first event. He is our team leader for the swimming segment. Together with the team from Parktherme Bad Radkersburg, he oversees the setup and takedown of the swimming course, and together with the lap counters from the Bad Radkersburg Running Club, he ensures the swimming segment runs smoothly. Wolfgang has been involved in triathlon since its early days. As an IRONMAN Lanzarote finisher in 1996 and Austrian masters swimming champion 2012, he proved his own strength; in his day job, Wolfgang works as a certified hypnotherapist and mental coach with elite athletes.

Time KeeperHe’s the guy who seems to be able to go 70 hours without sleep. Gerald has been in charge of digital timing and live timing since the very first event. Not only does he do an exceptional job during race weekends, but he also works tirelessly throughout the year to optimize the timing system.
